WHO WE ARE
The term, imago Christi (image of Christ), refers to the redemptive counterpart of the creation terminology, imago Dei (image of God). Basically, imago Christi refers to the means by which we can recover our true sense of imago Dei. Since Christ is the ultimate image of God, it is through his incarnation that God is most perfectly manifested. Imago Christi, then, refers to the very essence of Christ’s humanity which we are destined to be conformed to. Thus, imago Christi may simply be defined as “Christlikeness.”
With this goal of Christlikeness in all aspect of life and ministry, Imago Christi Studio was established by its founder and director, Daniel J. Kim, on December 25, 2012. The physical studio, located in Seoul (Gwangjin-gu), Korea, serves as a multi-facility for worship service, study group, intercessory prayer, recreational fellowship, dramatic arts production, and spiritual theological research.
Imago Christi Studio is committed to the following objectives:
- Research in spiritual theology
- Training in incarnational spirituality
- Production in creative arts
- Strategy in global mission
imago Christi (그리스도의 형상)라는 용어는, 창조 용어인 imago Dei (하나님의 형상)의 구속적 대응(인)물을 나타냅니다. 기본적으로 imago Christi는 하나님의 형상에 대한 진정한 의미를 회복할 수 있는 방식을 의미합니다. 그리스도는 하나님의 궁극의 형상이시므로, 그의 성육신을 통하여 하나님이 가장 완전하게 나타나십니다. 그러므로, imago Christi는 우리가 본받아야 할 그리스도의 인성의 바로 그 본질을 말합니다. 따라서, imago Christi는 단순히 “그리스도를 닮음”으로 정의될 수 있습니다.
삶과 사역의 모든 면에서 그리스도를 닮는다는 이러한 목표를 가지고, Imago Christi Studio는 2012년 12월 25일 설립자이자 디렉터인 Daniel J. Kim에 의해 설립되었습니다. 한국 서울 (광진구)에 위치한 실체의 스튜디오는 예배 예식, 스터디 그룹, 중보기도, 레크리에이션 교제, 드라마 예술 제작, 및 영성 신학 연구를 위한 복합 시설로 사용됩니다.
